The GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS PARKWAY starts at I-40 - Exit
407, and
runs to the end of Gatlinburg. G.S.M.P. encompasses
quite a few different roads including: Hwy. 66, Forks Of The
River Parkway, the Parkway in BOTH Sevierville & Pigeon
Forge, then the connecting road that runs approximate 5 miles
between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg commonly referred to as
the Spur or Foothills Parkway, and then the Gatlinburg Parkway.

WITH A BUSINESS'S INFO, THIS REPRESENTS:
EXAMPLE: GSMP=0.39 THIS MEANS
.39 MILES FROM I-40/EXIT 407
If you reset your odometer at
I-40 - Exit 407 (the red star near the top of the picture to the
left), it's very easy to find ANY business along the GREAT SMOKY
MOUNTAINS PARKWAY. Example: If you were looking for the
new Ripley's Aquarium...you would just travel to odometer
reading GSMP=21.71 miles!
Its easy to see how many
vacationers got confused searching for such and such
"Parkway" address, while looking in the wrong city!
The maps on this virtual site
will take you to EVERY main attraction, restaurant, shopping
mall, etc. You can "zoom in" anywhere along the
GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS PARKWAY, and see the actual area where
your point of interest is located, and even take a VIRTUAL TOUR
through many of these locations!
